Realme is also launching the GT Neo 3 series, which has already been presented for China, in Germany after the general launch in Europe was announced yesterday. The GT Neo 3 is also available in a 150-watt version that charges to 50 percent in 5 minutes. Dragon Ball Z fans will get their money's worth with the GT Neo 3T.
Realme, which belongs to BBK Electronics but has its own development division, is the first company to offer a smartphone with 150 watt fast charging in this country. The charging technology dubbed "150W UltraDart" is said to be able to charge a 4,500 mAh battery, which is divided into two cells, to 50 percent in just 5 minutes. Nevertheless, Realme certifies that the GT Neo 3 has a remaining battery capacity of at least 80 percent after 1,600 complete charging and discharging cycles. The industry standard for this value is usually only 800 cycles, explains Realme. The 150 watt power adapter supplied by the manufacturer can handle not only its own UltraDart standard, but also USB-PD including PPS (programmable power supply) and Qualcomm Quick Charge. The GT Neo 3 will come in two versions, including a model with "only" 80 watts, which is said to do 50 percent in 12 minutes and offers 5,000 mAh in return.
Racing stripes or plain black
The design of the GT Neo 3 is reminiscent of a racing car with its racing stripes. Nitro Blue has white stripes on a blue background, while Sprint White has black stripes on a white background. Realme underlines that it is the brand in the BBK Electronics range that wants to relate "speed" to the GT smartphones not only in terms of technology, but also in terms of design. The third color "Asphalt Black", which is also matt, is less conspicuous.

MediaTek Dimensity 8100 for the first time in Europe
Positioned below the GT 2 Pro presented at the MWC, the GT Neo 3 is the first smartphone in Europe to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The Dimensity 9000, which is one step faster, is only available in the Redmi K50 Pro in China so far.
MediaTek has the Dimensity 8100 manufactured by TSMC in 5 nm and equips the chip with four Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores each, which reach up to 2.85 and 2.0 GHz respectively, and uses an ARM Mali -G610 MC6 as GPU. In the 150-watt version of the smartphone, 12 GB of LPDDR5 and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 are docked to the SoC, while the 80-watt model has 8 GB/256 GB of the same standard.

Below the GT Neo 3, Realme positions the GT Neo 3T, which relies on the Snapdragon 870 – the last stage of the Snapdragon 865. The manufacturer combines the chip with 8 GB LPDDR4X and 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1. In addition, the GT Neo 3T has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz and 100 percent DCI-P3. The 5,000 mAh battery can be charged with 80 watts. For the triple camera, Realme uses 64 MP (wide angle), 8 MP (ultra wide angle) and 2 MP (macro).
