A brief guide for the MetalsAPI Python API In 2022 is given below for the benefit of our readers.
How does the API get its information?
How is it priced?
The gold bullion price is based on the spot price of gold in USD. This means that it is determined by the current market rate of gold. In addition, our market prices are also adjusted for any commissions or fees that are associated with purchases or sales of gold bullion bars and/or coins.
The silver price is based on the spot prices of various forms of silver in USD. This means that it is determined by current market rates for various forms of silver. These forms include, but are not limited to, minted coins, bars, and rounds. In addition, our market prices are also adjusted for any commissions or fees that are associated with purchases or sales of silver bullion bars and/or coins.
