What used to take place regularly, but only with a small selection of cinema films, is now a mass start. Since the 1980s, new blockbusters have been released in cinemas every Thursday – until then, by the way, always on Fridays. Nowadays, filmmakers are under a lot more pressure, because not only the total income of the film determines its success, but the first weekend of the game already has a significant impact. How long the respective cinema film can be seen on the big screen in the following also depends on this first weekend. In general, however, it can be said that the new footage can be viewed for around six weeks.

The Lost City – The mystery of the lost city
An action comedy packed with Hollywood stars. In "The Lost City," adventure novelist Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) ventures into the real world to an exotic location – out of necessity. Because the billionaire Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe) kidnaps her when she is on tour presenting her new book. She is to lead him to protection in the ancient lost city, which she describes in her new novel. The title character of her stories, Alan (Channing Tatum), also exists in real life. He wants to prove that he can also be heroic in real life. Without further ado, he goes in search of Loretta to save her. Both penetrate more and more into the jungle, where fiction and reality become increasingly blurred. You can watch the trailer here.
Death of a Ladies' Man
"Death of a Ladies' Man" tells a grotesquely surreal story, accompanied by famous songs by singer Leonard Cohen. College professor Samuel O'Shea (Gabriel Byrne) takes a real trick in life: he doesn't just catch his second wife in bed with someone else. He is also diagnosed with end-stage brain cancer. What to do? Right: Make a pact with your long-dead father. He – Ben (Brian Gleeson) – appears to Samuel as a physical hallucination, making them inseparable. His final adventure begins – hand in hand with death.
