HPE has launched its Swarm Learning and Machine Learning Development System, while Salesforce has announced further integration with Slack, Tableau and Mulesoft.
HPE has announced its next step in artificial intelligence (AI) technology: the introduction of HPE Swarm Learning and the new Machine Learning (ML) Development System. The new tools were introduced with the aim of improving the accuracy of the models, reducing the burden on the AI infrastructure and improving data protection standards.
According to Justin Hotard, executive vice president and general manager, the new technology has already made strides in addressing the challenges in these areas.
“Enterprises seek to incorporate AI and machine learning to differentiate their products and services, but often face the complexity of setting up the infrastructure required to build and train accurate AI models at scale” , Hotard added.
“The HPE Machine Learning Development System combines our proven end-to-end HPC deep learning solutions with our innovative machine learning software platform in one system to provide a powerful out-of-the-box solution that… Time to value and accelerated results with AI.”
Hewlett Packard Enterprise reported in March that total revenue for the first quarter of its fiscal 2022 reached $6.96 billion, a slight 2% increase from $6.83 billion for the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, Salesforce made a series of announcements regarding the expansion of the Flow Automation Suite at its TrailblazerDX 2022 conference. Salesforce claims the new tools allow customers to quickly automate complex Salesforce Customer 360 Platform processes and build solutions that can be automated across Slack, Mulesoft, and Tableau.
To achieve this, Salesforce updated its Flow Automation Suite, which the company says can now deliver more than a trillion monthly automations.
“The new capabilities for Flow give users the ability to trigger flows from analytics dashboards, use low-code to easily integrate with any system, and interact with flows directly in Slack, where people spend most of their time spend,” said Patrick Stokes, executive vice president and general manager of Salesforce.
In addition, Salesforce and Slack jointly announced the Salesforce Platform for Slack, a new toolkit that enables developers to build Slack apps directly from Salesforce, as well as beta availability of numerous sales, service, and marketing apps, all expected to be available will be generally available in June of this year.
In addition, Tableau announced a number of new capabilities within its platform aimed at alleviating the problems developers face when organizing data and developing an analytics-centric architecture. The new Tableau capabilities are designed to unlock more data, embed Tableau analytics into any application, and bring data insights more directly into the workflow via Salesforce Flow.
