She welcomed important people, the director of 3 Suisses and doctors, and in the evening, my father, he cooked for all the customers who stayed in the living room, while she put down their color. I lacked nothing. I was even a spoiled child. But in fact, my mother, I never saw her. I don't remember a single dinner where I was alone with her. I had a nanny whom I called Maman. I was boarded four kilometers from my home. I still remember my mother saying to us: "Come on, we're going on vacation to the sea. We're going to the apartment in Sainte-Cécile!" and then who, after three days, wants to go home, because she misses her clients. And me ? It's things that mark. We're a tight-knit family, but it's true that I never talked to him about it.

The worst part is that today I'm doing the exact same thing. I've been in hairdressing for thirty-four years. My children are sacred, but I don't see them. It's always the job. I only see him every two weeks. He lives with his mother, and we meet with my parents on Saturday evenings in Béthune. I arrive around 9 p.m., and I drop him off at school on Monday. Except that, at the moment, it's winter, it's dark, the road to Saint-Omer is dangerous, so I only go there on Sundays. It's a failure for me. Because a child should not have divorced parents. “I never take vacations. I had to go abroad maybe three times”
But I was never there. I was in the living room. I would even say at trade fairs. Because I had several at one time. I even had several lives as a hairdresser. I styled Miss France for seven years. When I was at Dessange, we were styling 250 clients a day. At that time, I did a lot of bodybuilding, I did 3 hours of sports a day, I was always tanned, I did 50 UV per year, I was always on my 31. I worked in fatigues and rangers. The clients, they stood to attention when they entered the salon. I always looked fabulous. Afterwards, I was young, I didn't have a small bun like now. On the other hand, in my living room, I always spend as much time there. I have a business to run, and the Covid hasn't helped. So, no, I never take vacations. I had to go abroad maybe three times. Once in Cape Verde, twice in Egypt. Each time in 5 star all inclusive. In the evening, I went to see the shows. And the day was beach or swimming pool, deckchair and nothing to do. Because I'm not the style to visit, I'm not interested.
